Patås - Siste Dag

Siste Dag was a collaboration with ambient and techno producer Patås. For his first EP, he asked me to create the visuals to his ambient track Siste Dag. Inspired by the warmth of the song, I went for an abstract story of the sun. 

I was also inspired to incorporate the circle as a graphical element, in order to play between the organic and fluid nature of the inks and the graphical circle.

As a further exploration of this story of the sun, I created a 3 layer screenprint. The base gradient layer was created with spraypaint, and I then screenprinted two layers on top.
