In 2022, electronic producer o.utlier asked me to create a video to accompany his beautiful track Worshipper. At the time, I was working on a video based on cloud formations in Tenerife which worked wonderfully together.

I would spend a lot of time in the forests surrounding the Teide volcano, where almost daily, clouds would meet the sloping forests.

It was always wonderful to witness this sky ocean ebb and flow into the valleys and mountain ravines, like white waves crashing into a rocky volcanic beach. Clouds would constantly form and disappear, and in so, cover and reveal shapes of pines trees, mountain tops and other dramatic vistas.

It was in this area, where things were always in a state of transition, that I found the inspiration and basis for this visual piece. Using the moving photography I captured there, I played with transitions and double exposures in order to give the viewer that slight disorientating feeling one might feel when suddenly engulfed by a huge passing cloud.
